Swiss S1 Guidelines for Systemic treatment of psoriasis vulgaris

2016/07/29 - News from medical groups

The Swiss guidelines contain in addition to short paragraphs to each systemic medication incl. Secukinumab and Apremilast, also two tables with all necessary information about small molecules and biologicals in use for psoriasis. In special locations like scalp and genital area where PASI is often below a value of 10, severe involvement of visible areas but not high BSA is not reflected by representative values of the PASI. Here DLQI >10 should be considered for the evaluation of moderate-to-severe psoriasis.

Please find also the link of the freely available paper where is online supplementary material like a PASI / PrecisePASI / NAPSI and PPPASI calculator, PEST and DLQI scores in different languages (English, German, French, Italian) and a suggestion for future treatment goals for PASI90.
